This monument has been completely renovated, whereby the basement, facades, window frames, roof, gas, water, plumbing and electricity have been completely replaced or renovated. All walls are plastered and various old brick walls, historic details and original wooden nut and child beams have been brought into view. The building has been professionally painted and equipped with a lighting plan of all Phillips HUE inside and outside for customizable dramatic lighting effects so that every room comes into its own. Newly faced stairs have anti-slip protection in a faux-stone finish with LED lighting on every step from the ground floor to the 2nd floor.

The custom-made flush-mount extractor hood is operated by remote control and ventilates outside.  From the kitchen you can walk straight into the glass conservatory with integrated LED lights, through custom, “Solarlux” bi-fold, wall of glass doors. A lovely place for a spacious dining table with additional sliding glass doors to the fully-walled patio where the 5 person jacuzzi awaits you; turn on the fountains and lights in the spa for additional ambiance at an elegant dinner party.

 

CELLAR: When you are in the kitchen and you walk over the glass floor, it feels as though you are in a museum looking at Dutch history below your feet.  If you feel like a glass of wine, or you want to invite friends to see your collection and have a tasting experience with an historic atmosphere, simply press a button and open the glass floor with the “Linfi” fully-automatic, custom glass cellar hatch, to walk straight into the vaulted cellar via an authentic masonry staircase.  A beautiful, completely-renovated cellar with a street hatch at the front has been impregnated and treated against moisture and also equipped with a submersible pump and ventilation system. 1ST FLOOR: Landing with access to the front room with a fireplace and beautiful views over the canal and of Nieuwe Kerk and the old City Hall.  This incredible space can be used as a lovely work room or bedroom with beamed ceiling, lots of light, and CAT wiring.
