Historic Delft Centrum

When you walk out the door of Voldersgracht 11, you are immersed in history. The market square, with the Nieuwe Kerk (ca. 1396) and the historic Delft Town Hall (ca. 1619), is just across the Bonte Ossteegbrug, directly in front of the house. The bridge was drawn by the world famous artist MC Escher, from the window of Voldersgracht 11-A. When you walk to the square, you will see the Hugo Kaagman Mural on your right, an iconic piece of Delft. Your guests will enjoy the proximity of the Delft canal cruises and the Prinsenhof and Vermeer Centrum museums. Two weekly markets offer fruit, vegetables, meat, flowers and much more. During the warmer months, there is an antique market on Saturdays. When it comes time to light the Christmas tree in December, you only have to walk a few steps to enjoy the festivities, or sit in your upper window to listen to the songs coming up from below. And on warm sunny afternoons you can settle down on your own front terrace to watch people walk past, walk a few steps over the bridge to one of the many terraces on the Grote Market, or even walk just a few minutes to the wonderful, lively Beestenmarkt. Shopping is within easy reach with everything you need within a few minutes walk from large supermarkets to a quaint local bakery.

Delft Central Station is less than 10 minutes away.

Parking is available for about €125/month a few doors down (less than a 30 second walk).
